 - "What do I do?"

Here at Vectors miniature painting service I paint Wargaming and display figures from Sci-Fi, Historical and Fantasy genres such as Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar and Bolt action.

I also provide 3d printing services! For this I use SLA resin printers and FDM plastic printers. I am with this able to provide highly detailed miniatures and conversion parts printed in resin. And unique terrain pieces made with the Plastic FDM printer.
I am also proficient in 3d design so I can also alter pre-existing 3d files to suit your needs, or design from scratch to your specifications.

 - "more about me"

I have been taking part in the various aspects of the hobby, be it building and painting miniature to terrain making since roughly 2006. As is the case with many hobbyists I started out with Lego! I remember from a very early age taking apart all my kits, building tanks, jets, warships and robots and bases for them to attack. I of course was making all the sound effects (and I still do sometimes)

I still remember my first kit, a box of Italieri Napoleonic Prussian Line infantry (I still have them too!) and I collected historical figures for a few years, mostly Napoleonic era (I loved the uniforms)  but also WW1 and WW2, as well as a few modern models.

It wasn't until 2008 when we were on holiday that I bought my first Wargames Illustrated magazine, I previously didn't know that you could play games with these models (apart from flicking elastic bands at each others armies, me and grandad did that a few times!) 

This magazine first introduced me to the idea of playing games with the models, I must have read that magazine hundreds of times front to back. But where to play, that was the problem, I didn't know of anywhere that you could go to to play these games!

A quick search on google with mum's help and we found somewhere in the next town over! 

We found out they met up every Sunday so I quickly painted up my US Airborne models and we set out!

It was here that I was first shown the fantastic miniatures and world that is Warhammer 40k. My first ever game was the recently rereleased space hulk.

Needless to say I fell in love.

Now many years later I have a vast collection of Warhammer 40k, Fantasy and various historical armies in several scales, mainly in 15mm and 28mm.

This passion inspired my education, I did knew about 3d printing and 3d design so I chose to do I.T and Product Design at college. After college I chose to pursue my passion instead of going to University, a few years of poor mental health slowed my dream but the dream never died.
